Gameplay

In Ratel Cartel, your goal is to lead or be a part of a gang, rule the lucrative honey trade, purchase and craft powerful weapons, accumulate Street Cred points, and earn as many HONEY tokens as possible for each game season.

In each borough of New York, the player checks market prices, buys and sells stash items, and then travels to another part of the city where prices are different and the player can profit from the arbitrage.

Acquisition of weaponry to arm a player and the gang he is in, is also a primary focus of gameplay. Weapon strength plays a part in determining the outcome of a battle.

Random occurrences are muggings, flash stash sales, inflated stash prices, and finding hidden stashes.

After 7 days, the game season ends. The final score is calculated by taking the player's final amount of HONEY tokens and then use an algorithm to reduce this to a ranking number, relative to the other players in the game. This determines the payout in BEEs the player receives.
